ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Sodi Toby is our founder and managing director. He set up Luminous Leaders in 2018, having recognised the need of organisations for personnel that can initiate positive and productive influence at all levels. Sodi is our lead resource person and has excellent leadership character, experience and expertise. He is one that definitely walks the talk.

Sodi is a well-regarded leader, entrepreneur and engineering consultant. He has successfully pioneered and led various commercial businesses and non-profit organisations. In one of his previously held senior roles, as Head of Projects and management team leader in reputable engineering consultancy, he led the company to a record year of revenue and profits. Sodi also helped to set up a successful foodbank project and led the successful restructuring and growth of a community-based charity in one of the most deprived areas of the UK.

Sodi is a Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Trainer and Coach. He is a Chartered Engineer recognised by the Engineering Council (UK) and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK). Sodi graduated from the University of Sussex with a first-class master’s degree in Engineering. He speaks and presents regularly at conferences, workshops, and seminars internationally.
